We hosted WeAreCdale19. We were honored with not only co-hosting the event but also given front row seats alongside CEO of Calderdale Council Robin Tuddenham and Councillor Tim Swift.

Our responsibility throughout the event was to welcome everyone to the event, give them an oversight to the day ahead, and inform them of health and safety procedures and how to use Slido.Slido is an app which was used at the event for those in the audience to post questions so those on Panel at the event could answer questions based on the votes of the questions provided by the guests.

This event gave us the oppertunity to listen to many inspiring people such as Kim Leadbetter – Jo Cox sister who informed us of the ‘Looking our for our neighbours’ campaign inspiring people to combat lonliness and come together.

John Wright the chief excecutive for the Born in Bradford project was another speaker at the event who informed everyone attending of his work.

Tim Swift, Councillor commented on the event:

It was really tremendous and I think the quality of what they delivered matched anything on offer from professional organisations. The three young women who compered were great, as were the performers at the end.
